Like I’m not down enough on myself and my lack of networking already. I lamented about it in a previous post.
And today, everywhere I look, there are posts on networking. And how important it is. I get it, people!!! I need to do it. I SERIOUSLY need to. I am unequivocably being a lazy, lazy writer and failing to network to my potential. That, and for as wordy as I can be (and my friends know just how oh-so-wordy I can be), I am a shy person at heart. Yep, a born introvert who was forced to come out of her shell through many, many moves, new schools, new friends, new everything. And no, we weren’t military. Or nomads. I don’t know what my parents’ problem was.
But my natural inclination is to be shy. And that unfortunately creeps into my business as well. Get to know me and I’m as goofy and talkative as the next person. Perhaps more so! But initially, I’m a wallflower until I feel comfortable. Lame but true.
Want to read about networking and how important it is? Here are just a few blogs:

Is it a conspiracy? Perhaps. All of these blogs are a part of the business channel of b5 media.
But it’s all summed up pretty nicely with a bunch of links in The Power of Networking article. So, conspiracy or not, I will take note and make a true effort to network, break out of my shell, move out of my comfort zone and all of those other cliched things.
No, not a conspiracy Tina. Just great networking! Hang in there, and to start a good networking connection, you can start with me!
LOL! Thanks, Bridget – sounds great!
