I am jumping the gun on the graphic below because I’m not even registered yet. But I am oh so tempted to go!

Hell, an expo in Las Vegas? A business write off? Should I really have to think so much about this?

I’m a novice blogger. As you can probably tell by this blog. I am a writer and editor – and while for the online world I have written ebooks and online content and web copy, I am not well-versed in SEO optimization (yet), or getting tons of internet traffic for a site or all the affliate stuff going on out there. But I’m interested in it all. For myself but also for my clients so I can help them in possibly other ways than writing damn good material!

So I’m thinking about going. It doesn’t hurt that the last time I went to Vegas I won $900 off a $2 slot machine bet….Which is interesting because I am not a gambler at all. Seriously. I walked by a machine on the way to a comedy show and told my husband that we had to come back to that machine. So after the show we found our way back to the machine and I put in $20. I made a $2 bet and won big. I could hardly breathe, I was so excited!

Anyway, back to the expo. I was thinking that it might be a great opportunity for me to network and learn more about all the ins and outs of blogging…especially since some of my upcoming projects involve more blogging.

Oh, and another cool thing…they are having a few co-located events there. So those of us who specialize in writing for the real estate, mortgage and credit industries may find it of interest that the “Real Estate & Mortgage Industry Blogging Community” will be there and holding several workshops!
