in the works: WOOF!

Ever feel like all your friends are prettier? Hotter? Just plain “better” than you? That’s how Vivi feels. She’s always been the plain jane and when a new friend opens Vivi’s eyes up to the world of cosmetic enhancements, there’s no turning back. No matter what happens to her bank account.

Brandi is a tough-talking real estate agent who won’t take no for an answer. Her confidence spills over into all parts of her life, so when she meets Vivi, she’s got a new project and is determined to whip Vivi into shape.

Michelle is Vivi’s long-time friend and feels threatened by Brandi. She thought Vivi was fine as she was…why have her change now?

And then there is the always sexy Barb. She gets what she wants. Period. And being the hottest babe among her “friends” works in her favor. She’s not liking Vivi’s transformation one bit.

Woof! is in the works and more information can be found at Woof! – The Book.

Editing Work: The Credit Road Map for the Self Employed

While I love to write my fiction on spec (translation: work on my manuscripts which are currently unagented), Momma’s gotta pay some bills. So from time to time I take an editing gig. I’m not the stuffy, Professor Tina says “this is the grammatically correct way to write or take a hike” kind of editing gal. I’m more of a “how can we make this subject interesting, make sense and not break a kazillion grammatical rules in the meantime” kinda woman.

So, when credit expert Patrick Ritchie asked me to edit his first book – The Credit Road Map – I did it in a way that would keep his voice intact, make credit actually readable and understandable and I had a fun (and educational) time doing it!

A couple years later Patrick decided to write a book that would  be his original book on steroids…plus geared towards the multitudes of persons who are self-employed. From real estate agents, to business owners to direct marketing sales people. And that book is aptly titled The Credit Road Map for the Self Employed and you can find out more information here.

Ebook: The WAHM Agent

Before I had the munchkin, I got my real estate license. And then while I raised the little munchkin, I worked the real estate biz. It was actually pretty cool, balancing the little guy on my hip while showing homes to clients. In fact, my little sales assistant was a big draw. My clients would ask about him and demand that I bring him back the next time I needed to pop by for signatures or something. It was a great gig for a mom with kids. And it still is. Yes, even in this crazy economy and during this whackadoodle real estate dip, there is money to be made in real estate. Look around you and take a gander at all the short sales and foreclosures. Those are deals you could be making money on.

So I whipped up a trio of ebooks on the subject for the work at home mom covering everything from making the decision to marketing (especially with kids!!) and working your real estate biz. Read the testimonials and dive into the details ebooks tailored on working from home as a real estate agent over at The WAHM Agent.
