A crazy snowstorm hit us here in this AZ mountain town. And it totally messed with my word count. The kids had a couple snow days and I found myself playing in the snow more than sitting in front of my computer. But I did manage to get a fair amount of words – over 5k – written. My deadline for the first draft is tomorrow and I know I’m not going to be finished. But I will print out what I do have on Monday night and have it at the ready for those moments (like when T is in cheer class) I can sneak some editing and writing in. As planned, I will be starting in on the first draft for Rim Country Rivals on Tuesday, regardless of where things stand with my nonfiction piece.
