There are days I crank out 5000 words. Yes, that’s five thousand words.
And, I’m not a unique writer. There are many writers who can crank that out and more on a daily basis.
But, more often lately, I’m lucky if I get one sentence typed out.
That’s right. One sentence.
I get distracted. Life gets in the way. I put writing down at the bottom of my to do list.
It’s not good.
When you’re an author and don’t have a deadline looming over your head, your writing life gets a little dicey. Most of us need the pressure. That pressure that keeps us in our seats, type-type-typing away.
Some days I can kick my little procrastination enemy to the curb. But lately? Nope.
